GEHWOL

In 1868, pharmacist Eduard Gerlach took over the family business in Lübbecke, Germany. Observing the injuries suffered by factory and farm workers, poorly shod and constantly on their feet, he developed the very first industrially produced foot cream in 1882—a breakthrough that made this type of care widely available.
The name Gehwol, derived from the German words Gehen (to walk) and Wohltat (benefit), perfectly encapsulates the brand's intention since its inception. Remaining in the Gerlach family for over 150 years, the company has built its reputation on German precision and close collaboration with practitioners in the field, who continue to guide the development of its products today.
