Self-Contained Biological Indicators | Rapid 30-Minute Readout

PODIUM self-contained biological indicators are designed for routine biological monitoring of steam sterilization cycles, providing a result indicating whether the conditions required for inactivation of the target microorganisms were achieved.

Each vial contains a standardized population of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores, the test organism recognized for monitoring steam sterilization cycles due to its high heat resistance. The self-contained format combines the spores and growth medium in a single sealed vial, requiring no manipulation. Placed in the autoclave during a normal cycle and then inserted into the compatible reader, the vial delivers a result in just 30 minutes.
