The PODIUM Bowie & Dick Test verifies proper air removal from the sterilization chamber and complete steam penetration into porous loads. This test simulates the actual operation of the autoclave and evaluates the effectiveness of the pre-vacuum, ensuring uniform steam penetration into the sterilizer's cavities.

Designed for a 134°C sterilization cycle lasting 3.5 minutes, this test features an indicator visible directly on the label, with no need to open the test packaging. This yellow pellet turns black when sterilization conditions have been correctly achieved, allowing for a quick, unambiguous reading of the result at a glance — even before accessing the internal indicator, located at the center of the package.
